Greek Orthodox Youth of America

GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth of America) is a ministry to teenagers of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America for the purpose of fellowship, worship, service, and witness. Under the guidance of Father Cosmas Halekakis and the GOYA Advisor, activities reflect the Orthodox Christian Faith, Tradition and Life, including a well-rounded program of religious, cultural, community, and social activities.

The goal is to lead our young people to develop a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to better understand our faith and utilize it to navigate teenage challenges,

and to become active members in our church and community. Through our many programs, our GOYAns come to learn and grow as Orthodox Christians in today’s society. They make new friends and experience their faith and culture in a loving and fun environment.

Do you have a rising teenager? Introduce them to our amazing teenage youth group! All teens are welcome and encouraged to join GOYA! Contact the GOYA Advisor, Lia Economou, to join one of our meetings and find out more.
