PROJECT #1
THE ICONSCREEN: A SACRED THRESHOLD

Overview
The iconscreen is a sacred architectural feature that separates the altar from the congregation and symbolizes the presence of Heaven in our worship space. We plan to build a wooden iconscreen that matches the bishop’s throne and chanter stand. We will reuse our existing icons.

We have received multiple quotes from a local Architect who provided the renderings below; costs would be dependent on the style and complexity.

PROJECT #2
HEART OF WORSHIP: BUILDING THE ALTAR

Overview
We are constructing a new altar and solea (the raised platform where sacraments take place) to create a sacred space worthy of the Divine Liturgy. This space will not only be used for the Divine Liturgy, but for all future baptisms, weddings, funerals, memorials and more of the life of our church community.

Our full costs are still in progress but your contributions would help with Altar and Solea tiling, Iconostasis Integration and Contractor Labor.
